Mindful Living and Our DogsÂŽ Course

The way we’re feeling really matters to our dogs. They’re always going to soak up our feelings, even when we think we’re not showing them. That means that if we try to solve any problems our dogs may be having, we’ll only be doing half the job if we don’t also know how to feel calm and self-confident ourselves.

In this self-paced course, our in-house Certified Animal Behaviourist, Caroline Wilkinson, is joined by Clinical Psychologist, Dr. Linda Blair, to teach you ways in which you can live more mindfully alongside your canine companion.

I absolutely loved this course and would recommend it to anyone.

The course is clearly delivered by Caroline and Linda who take you step by step along a journey of many ‘a-ha’ moments. You learn to look at your canine companion and yourself in a different way.

The 6 week course is fun and doesn’t take a lot of time each week. I learned so much from this course and as a result of using Linda’s breathing techniques managed (as a complete side line) to reduce my blood pressure enough to keep my Doctor happy!!

This course was so useful to me. I can suffer anxiety & from the time my dog was a puppy, he was over friendly and pulled towards other dogs. This made me anxious and even 2 years on, when I did this course, my walks weren’t what I imagined them to be when I became a dog owner.

Mindfulness helped me understand how my anxiety was making the situation worse.

This course, is so useful and through Caroline & Linda’s gentle teaching, I learned to reassess myself, be calmer and my life journey with him now is totally different and so much more relaxed.
