Frequently Asked Questions

How long do I have access to the content for?

While we'll guide you through the course content over 28 days, you'll have access to the course content for as long as you'd like!

Do I need to buy any extra equipment to see success?

While we provide you with a list of equipment, that depending on why/where your dog is barking may help, you can still work through all advice without it - and achieve a reduction in barking!

Will my dog's barking stop completely?

Our aim with this course is that, if followed consistently, you will see a significant reduction in the amount your dog is barking. As we discuss in the course, barking is a natural form of communication and it would be unfair to expect that your dog will never bark again. If your dog's barking is due to an underlying health condition, pain, or specific behaviour such as Separation Anxiety, further support from our in-house Behaviourist or your Veterinarian will be required.

My Dog Stops Barking When I Punish Them - Why Do I Need this Course?

Punishment - such as shouting at your dog or spraying them with water - may seem to have the desired result of stopping your dog barking. However, if you're still having to use that punishment, then your dog still is barking! In this course, we help you support the underlying reason/emotion that's causing your dog to bark and get long term results that last!

What if my Dog Barks When Left Home Alone?

If your dog is only barking when it’s left alone, then we need to look at this isolation distress in more detail. Start by filming your dog when it’s left alone for a very short period of time. Does the barking or stress signals (panting, pacing, scratching at door, yawning) start immediately as you leave or is it after a few minutes? Next, book in a consultation to discuss this further and put a support plan in place.

I've Got a "Barky" Breed of Dog - Can you Help?

We know that some breeds are more inclined to bark, having been selectively bred with that as a ‘tool for their trade’ - particularly our terriers. While your dog might bark more naturally, there are still plenty of ways we can help you to reduce the frequency it occurs.
